Scholarship Program
WE award FIVE (5) $1,000 scholarships PER YEAR to qualified applicants
Kingdom Telephone Company will award five (5) $1,000 scholarships to qualified applicants to help further higher education among our rural youth. These scholarships are available to students for their first year of college, university or vocational-technical school.
Application information will be sent to schools in our serving territory in early December or an application can be filled out below.

The children and grandchildren of employees, board members, former employees, and former board members are not eligible to participate.
Eligibility

High school senior
Be a graduating high school senior in our service area.
US Citizen
Be a US Citizen
Be a customer
Be a dependent of a Kingdom Networks customer in good standing since October 1, through time of award.
College Acceptance
Be accepted by an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
2.0 GPA or Higher
Have at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA).

Essay
Submit a 500-800 word essay on the following subject: How would your life be affected if you didn’t have access to the Internet? Proofread your essay before submitting.
Letters of Recommendation
Submit two letters of recommendation – only one may be from a teacher, counselor or other educator.
Transcripts
Submit 7 semesters of transcripts. Transcript does not have to be an official copy.

Review Process
All applications will be reviewed, and awardees will be selected by a Kingdom Networks committee.
One Time Award
Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewable. Scholarships can be deferred for 1 year.
Proof of Registration
Awards will be paid upon proof of registration at an institution of higher education and will be issued in August of each year.
Fairness
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender or disability.
